Realm of Idlers is an MMORPG that keeps playing when you can't.
Your character mines, fishes, crafts and fights on its own in an online world full of other players, while you work, study or do anything else. When you have time, jump in for quests, boss fights and trading.
Made for people who love MMOs but no longer have the hours for them. Your character lives in a real, shared world. Point them at a rock, a tree, a fishing spot or a monster and they get on with it: they work, carry a full bag to the nearest bank and come straight back, for an hour or all day, with no input from you. You are not watching numbers climb in a menu. You are watching your character in the world, next to everyone else.
When you do have time, it plays like any other MMO: quests, bosses, trading and a continent to explore.
Your skills train themselves. Mining, woodcutting, fishing, smithing, cooking, crafting, construction and the combat skills. No classes and no fixed order: train whichever you want, whenever you want. Every skill keeps training while you are away from the keyboard, and every level opens more of the world.
Play while you work. Shrink the game into a small window that stays on top of everything else. Work, study or browse while your character keeps mining, fishing and fighting in the corner of your screen. One click and you are back in the full game.
Quests are where you sit down and play. The people of the camp need a bridge raised, a boat built and a flooded mine pumped dry, and every quest you finish opens a new part of the map: new islands, new mines, new monsters and new resources.
Some fights want you at the keyboard. Team up against bosses that tear through the melee ring with their claws and rain arrows on everyone standing back. Every player who takes part rolls for loot, and the more damage you deal, the better your chance at the rare drops.
Every character you see is another player. Mine shoulder to shoulder in the quarry, fight side by side, chat, trade and level up together. Each world is built to hold thousands of players at once.
An economy run by players. Trade directly with other players, or sell to the General Store, where every store in the world shares one stock. Prices follow supply and demand: flood the store with iron bars and they go cheap, let them run out and they are worth a fortune.
A world that changes. The weather is the same for everyone in your world. Rain soaks the ground and leaves puddles that reflect whoever walks through them, storms bring wind and lightning, and the sun crosses the sky until the torches are lit.
Rare pets to find. They can turn up while you skill, fight or finish quests. Once found, a pet follows you everywhere, everyone around you can see it, and it has a trick of its own to show off.
Let the idle do the grinding. Play the rest.
