AD BLOCKER offers a fresh take on the classic gameplay. Inspired by action puzzle games of the 90's and 2000's, and built for head-to-head gameplay between 0-2 players, AD BLOCKER is a fast-paced match-3 puzzler like no other!
With a low skill floor and high skill ceiling, everyone will be able to play at their own pace. So whether you’re new to the action puzzle scene or a long-time genre fan of games like Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack and TETRIS, AD BLOCKER has something for you!
Gameplay
The rules are simple: Each player is given a grid of blocks, and they each control their own Cursor.
At any time, a player can Swap the two Blocks inside their Cursor. If you Swap Blocks into a straight line of 3 or more, then a match is made!
Blocks swapped over open air will fall in, towards the middle. Keep your grid empty by dropping Blocks in, and try to make matches on the way down!
That’s all it takes to hop in and start blocking ads for yourself! Fill up your opponent’s grid before they can fill yours to claim victory!
But don’t let the simplicity fool you. There’s much to learn and master in AD BLOCKER…
In the unique Linear Garbage system, Blocks matched will be sent to the opponent’s grid in the same rows they were matched in. Skilled players may be able to make multiple matches in the same area to really stack up the punishment. So, pay close attention to the warning lights between the two grids, and try to keep your Blocks from piling up in one place!
These matches can get fast. Keep your eyes on that metronome in the center and keep up with the pace as it gets faster and faster! And if it's too much to handle, try adding some Extra Boards to give both players another chance when their grid fills up!
Game Modes
In Story Mode (1 player), experience the latest season of daytime game show Ad Blocker: Commercial Chaos. In it, the stars of commercials new and old face off for the grand prize: the chance to wish for anything their heart desires!

In Quick Match (0-2 players), face off against your favorite Player 2, challenge the CPU at your own pace, or sit back and spectate a match between 2 CPU players.
The game speed and CPU difficulty are customizable, so players can freely choose to have a relaxed bout, an intense 1v1, or anything in between!
