A Joker can execute the movement of any standard chess piece provided the path remains clear, allowing a pawn to sweep like a queen or a king to slip among other units. The owner selects the actual piece type for each action, but the opponent must decide whether the move is genuine or a bluff. Before committing to their own turn, a player may accuse the previous action as false. A correct call reveals and removes the piece, restores any captured units to the board, and lets the accuser retain their turn. An incorrect accusation reveals the piece as legitimate, grants the opponent a single guess at one of the accuser's hidden pieces, and costs the accuser their turn.
Wrongly accused players respond by pointing to one of the opponent's Jokers and naming its type. Success exposes that piece permanently. Failure rules out the named type for the remainder of the match, supplying useful information either way. A running move list records every accusation and outcome, turning the entire session into a growing body of evidence for deduction and memory.
Before the first move, each player freely arranges their sixteen pieces across their two back ranks in any configuration. The king might sit on b2 or the queen might hide behind pawns. No traditional check or checkmate exists. A match concludes when a king is captured, when a king is caught bluffing, or when the five-minute clock expires for either player. The clock advances only during the active player's decision time.
