"The Seventh Slot"
If one day you were to forget the voice of someone dear to you, could you still claim to truly remember them?
"The Seventh Slot" is a narrative-driven game set in a modern Japanese city, blending visual novel elements with the exploration of inner worlds and combat.
A sudden, tragic car accident claims the life of a close friend—someone who had been by your side since childhood.
As you attempt to return to your daily life, you stumble upon a café called "Chishima," which serves as a gateway to a realm beyond reality: the "Virtual Image" (or *Kyozō*).
Write a letter to your future self, tear it to pieces, and then open the door to the café.
Beyond that threshold lies your own unique "inner world."
Within every person’s heart stands a tower, and the inner demons dwelling there are the very manifestations of one’s deepest fears.
Choose to play as either the male protagonist, Aoi Kiryu, or the female protagonist, Mio Tsukishiro, and give your character a name.
Alongside your companions from Chishima, explore these inner worlds, awaken your "Manifested Psyche" (or *Shinshō Kenzō*), and confront your fears in battle. Help those who are gradually losing their emotions and sanity to reclaim their right to choose.
Caught between friendship, love, and loss, you will be forced to reconsider how you wish to live your life.
And beyond the six occupied slots, there remains one empty space—waiting for your answer.
