The Air Formation Builder: combine airplane types and create your own air units, including composite, multi-type formations. Choose unit size (Squadron, Reinforced Squadron, Wing ) and formation type (Combat Box, “V” Formation, Echelon…). Equip it with bomber and fighter planes. Move and rotate aircraft within formation, in order to get better attack, defense and fuel efficiency.

Unlike traditional airplane war games that treat air units as simple tokens, Air War General introduces an Air Formation Builder. No longer are you limited to generic stacks; you are the architect of your own fighting force.
Mix and match aircraft types into squadrons and wings, rearrange single planes within formation, specialize your roles, and engineer the perfect response to the Axis or Allied threat.
The AF Templates: modify and save your formation templates in the AF Builder and use them later in your missions for quick deployment.
Movement and Control
