Two Armies. Three Circles. One Decider.
Two castles face each other across a hex-grid battlefield. Between them sleeps The Decider, an ancient dragon bound to the three summoning circles around it. Hold the circles and it wakes for you.
2 Forts is a fast-paced fantasy RTS with none of the waiting. Mine Rezna, raise buildings, train squads and fight for the circles, and have a winner in 3 to 5 minutes.
Hold the Circles, Wake the Decider
Hold two of three: while your squads hold the majority of the summoning circles, the Decider charges for you.
Steal the charge: the 60-second charge is shared. Split the circles to stall it, or take the majority back seconds before it fires and turn their strike against them.
One breath, half a castle: a full charge breathes fire on the enemy castle for half its health. Land two strikes, or finish the job with a ground assault.
Sudden death: if a match drags on, the Decider charges faster and hits harder. Nobody turtles forever.
Five Factions, Ten Heroes
Each faction fields six units, two heroes and a trait that changes how it plays:
Humans - Frugal: everything costs 10% less. Swordsmen, Longbowmen, Knight Chargers and Archangels, led by the Paladin King's Holy Light or the Grand Marshall's Cavalry Charge.
Undead - Undying: destroyed squads rise again at half strength. Skeleton Hordes and Bone Golems, with the Lich Lord's Raise Dead or the Dark Sorceress's Meteor Strike.
Orcs - Berserker's Rage: wounded squads attack faster the closer they are to death. Warg Riders, Meat Wagons and Cave Trolls, with the Orc Shaman's Totem of Ancestors or the Warchief's Warhorn.
Elves - Marksman's Eye: ranged units hit harder and melee units dodge more. Rangers, Centaur Lancers and the Druid Circle, with the Archdruid's Entangling Roots or the Stormcaller's Chain Storm.
Corrupted - Blood Debt: sacrifice your own units for power and Rezna. Zealots, Dark Hounds and Devoted Sentinels, with the Dark Channeler's Dark Pact or the Ritual Guard's Martyr's Shield.
Fight for every hex cell
29 unit types across four building tiers: infantry, archers, cavalry, siege, flyers and elite tech units, each with the units it counters.
Casualties matter: squads lose damage as members fall, and healing can't bring back the dead.
A risky economy: send Gatherers to Rezna crystals. The exposed ones pay more, and they're exactly where cavalry raids hit.
Jungle camps: slay a neutral beast for a burst of Rezna and a temporary attack-speed boost for your whole army.
Ten battlefields: from the open King's Courtyard to the lava bridges of Scorched Pass, the tree-ringed groves of Whispering Weald and the void rifts of Sundered Sanctum. Ground troops respect the terrain; flyers go over it.
Spell Books, Team Buffs and the Draft
24 spell books: carry one into battle for scouting wards, decoys, shields, heals, crowd control, damage or an instant Rezna delivery. No Rezna cost, just a cooldown.
28 team buffs: equip up to three, such as Lifesteal, Bulwark, Pikewall or Rich Veins, to shape your army before the first unit is trained.
Buff Draft: a Captains Mode pick-and-ban over buffs and spell books, where you deny your opponent's favourites before the match starts.
Ways to Play
Ranked online PvP: climb from Bronze to Ascended.
Custom lobbies and live spectating: play friends with your own rules, or watch other players' matches as they happen.
Heroes Challenge: a gauntlet of seven boss commanders, each with their own twisted rules, ending with the Void Sovereign. Beat all seven with a faction to earn its Conqueror medal.
Daily Challenges: three new objectives every day.
Skirmish: take on Apprentice, Knight or Grandmaster bots, and set the map, starting Rezna, fog of war, weather and time of day.
Tutorial: a short guided match that teaches the basics.
Earned Progression
20 commander ranks: earn XP win or lose, and unlock heroes, units and team buffs as you rank up.
Chests: earned by playing, never sold. Unlock spell books, banners, titles, squad colours, cursors, board themes and Decider effects, with no duplicates.
