If magic existed in the modern world, then magic battles would surely be turned into a sport! In this turn-based roguelite, you get to be the coach of a brand-new team of Magefencers. Select your captain, recruit new team members, help them grow, watch them bond with each other, and try to win the title of Champion!
Hm? What's that about a time loop? Perhaps winning the Championship will shed some light on this mystery...

A game fully focused on combat and story! World exploration is not the focus.
Challenging turn-based battles. Build your team carefully and select the right moves for the right moment to battle your way through your opponents! Each of your Magefencers uses both magic and weaponry in battle—these can be combined into powerful combo moves.
Choose one of three starting captains. Will it be Lisette, the Rapier-wielding Ice mage? Will it be Kaya, the sulky Dragon morph? Or will it be Krish, the gregarious Weaver?
A roguelite with a story. Partake in fun, run-based gameplay where the story progresses even when you lose! Characters will remember the bonds they have forged with each other (and you!) even when time resets. Can you help your newfound friends escape the mysterious time loop?
Each run is different. Recruit different characters, grant them different Charms, watch them gain different stats with each level up, encounter different random events, and fight different enemies and bosses with each runthrough!
Winds: an engaging ability system. Your Magefencers have up to three Wind abilities, which help differentiate them from other characters you might come across and alter how you approach each encounter.
Help your team members befriend each other! When two battlers bond, you will have the opportunity to view a conversation granting more insight into them as characters. Additionally, they will give each other stat bonuses if fielded together!
A hand-crafted labor of love
From the developer: Third Wind is a game I've worked on developing solo over the course of many years. It takes a lot of inspiration from the games I grew up playing (and, of course, still play to this day). If you're craving something new and unique in the JRPG realm, but with that dash of nostalgia, then I'm hoping this is just the game for you!
