SHIFT DEBRIEF: Undercroft post, night guard. Shift: 12 AM to 6 AM. Status: survived, mostly.

The Undercroft is a new night-survival mode for Horny Asylum. They moved me downstairs. Under the asylum there are flooded cells, a sewer, and one guard booth with a wall of old TVs. My job is to sit in it until 6 AM and keep the inmates out. Nobody mentioned the inmates.

THE POSTING

Four inmates on my block: Chloe, Gwen, Lola and Eve. Three of them sleep in the cell block. Around the second hour they wake up, sit up, stand up and start walking. Eve doesn't have a bed. Eve doesn't sleep. Eve comes straight for a door.

EQUIPMENT

The TVs hanging over the desk are my cameras: Cell Block, Left, Middle and Right Corridor, Sewer Junction, and one labelled Behind You. Somebody thought that was funny. If an inmate shows up in a corridor, she's heading for that door. If she shows up at the junction, she's coming up behind me.

In front of me there are three cell doors. Click a doorway and it slams shut. Behind me there's a floor trap and a pipe. When a head comes up out of either one, you slam it. Fast.

KNOWN ISSUES

Every door I close drains the battery. To recharge I have to open everything: every door, the trap and the pipe. While it charges the cameras show static. I've raised this with management. Management is upstairs.

INCIDENTS

I've got three strikes a night (the game shows them as hearts). When one of them gets in, she runs right up to my chair and doesn't leave until she's done with me. Hands, mouth, or she climbs on and rides me right there at the desk. Then she goes back to her cell and I go back to work, one strike down.

They also dress differently every night. Night 1 it's sweaters and mesh tops. By Night 3 Gwen shows up as a blindfolded maid and Lola in black latex. By Night 4 nobody's bothering with clothes. HR has not responded to my email.

END OF SHIFT

If I make it to 6 AM, the night's mine and I get to pick which inmate I take back with me. She walks into the booth naked and I take her from behind on a cell-block bed. Final decision of the shift: cum inside or cum outside. I'm told this counts as overtime.

ROTA

• Night 1, Sewer Gate: Easy.
  
• Night 2, Pump Station: Normal.
  
• Night 3, Hydrotherapy: Hard.
  
• Night 4, The Pit: Nightmare. They get faster every hour.
