You build a robot. Your friend has to walk it.
WALK IT OFF is a physics party game for 1 to 4 players. Everyone builds a robot out of mismatched parts, hands it to someone else, and watches them try to walk it through a factory.
Build it for someone else
Take turns picking a head, a body, arms and two legs from five robot families. One long leg and one short one? A head the size of a wardrobe? Your call. It is not your robot.
No take-backs
Hand it over. Your friend gets a 3-2-1 countdown to see what you did.
Walk it
Every robot really walks. Long legs stride, heavy heads pull, uneven legs limp. Steer with small taps, catch your own stumbles, and get back up when it goes wrong. Nothing is random: if you fall, it was the body, the course, or you.
The factory fights back
Four courses, played in order: a loading dock, an electrical bay, a press line and, after dark, a container yard on the docks. Stamping presses, swinging arms, parcel belts, narrow ledges to crab-walk, and switches to shoot with your plasma popper. Leave the course and a missile comes for you.
Not your turn? Ruin theirs.
While a friend drives, you fly your robot's head as a drone. Pick up spare parts and drop them in the way. The driver can shoot them to bits.
Race head to head
Online with two or four players, you can race instead of taking turns: two robots on the course at once. Shoot your rival and it freezes for a moment. Or take your own head off, fly it as a drone and drop parts in their way. The clock keeps running, and your rival is welcome to shove your headless body off the course.
Who built this?
After every course the autopsy puts each robot back on show with its builder's name on it. You score for what you do, never for the robot you built. So the worse you build for a friend, the better your odds.
