One slipper. A million roaches.
Too Many Roaches is an active incremental about a kitchen that belongs to the roaches after dark. Switch on the light and the counter at the top of the screen says it all: 2,230,000 roaches. A hand with a slipper swings on its own wherever you point: you aim, it smacks. Squash the horde, earn coins for every roach, upgrade between nights and bring that counter down to zero.
Lights on. Aim. The slipper does the rest.
The slipper's shadow is your aim. It keeps swinging at whatever is under it, and a click lands a charged hit when you need one. Hit the thickest part of the crowd to build a combo up to x5.
A night lasts as long as your nerves
Your nerves wear thin by the second, and every roach that runs up onto your hand costs you more. Combos and golden roaches calm you down. When your nerves give out, the lights go off and the night is over. At dawn it ends anyway.
They run, hide, pile up and breed
The roaches see your shadow coming and scatter. Panic ripples through the horde, they dash for cracks and cover and pile up in heaps wherever there are too many of them. Every roach you leave alive breeds before the next night, so the counter climbs back up whenever they are stronger than you.
Upgrades, tools and traps
The landlord pays for every roach. Between nights, spend the coins on an upgrade tree for your hand, your nerves, your tools and the kitchen. Unlock a rolled newspaper, a fly swatter, a frying pan, a bug spray and a kitchen gas torch, and set bait crumbs, glue boards, chalk lines, snap traps and burners to clump and hold the crowd. Chemistry pays better, but it breeds mutants that poison cannot touch.
From the table to the nest
Clear the kitchen one zone at a time: the table, the sink and counter, the stove, the floor with its cupboards, the fridge, and at last the nest behind it. Nymphs, egg-carriers, flyers, armoured roaches, splitters, explosive roaches that set off chain reactions, golden roaches and mutants each call for a different tool. Every zone ends with Batya, the Big Daddy of all roaches, and the last fight is in his nest.
