Fights follow a best-of-three rounds structure with a standard two-minute timer per round. A tied score after three rounds leads to a full overtime round, and another draw repeats the overtime until a winner emerges. Keyboard and gamepad inputs are supported with full remapping available for combat actions.

Options include selecting the rival and arena, adjusting round length, health totals, starting energy, damage scaling, and one of five difficulty settings from Easy to Nightmare. These tools support experimentation with different breed matchups and rule variations.
Progression and Customization
Players begin with three cat breeds and three arenas. Success in Story and Tournament modes unlocks the remaining content, expanding the roster to 24 breeds and 17 arenas total. Appearance options cover coat colors and patterns, eye colors, outfits, body builds, and accessories. Additional cosmetic skins become available through regular play.
Arenas reflect real-world and imaginative locations. Matches take place in cities such as Tokyo, Paris, London, and Washington, DC, as well as beside the University of Virginia's Rotunda in Charlottesville, along Hawaii's volcanic coast, underwater with scuba equipment, and on the Moon in spacesuits. The varied settings influence the visual presentation without altering core mechanics.
Audio and Technical Features
An original soundtrack of 20 electronic tracks spans dark techno, dance, and cinematic styles. An in-game radio displays the current track and allows switching between songs. Progress saves automatically after matches, with additional save options available from the pause menu. Optional recording captures full matches or knockout moments, and saved clips can be viewed, trimmed, adjusted for playback speed, and exported as MP4 files. Recording can be toggled off entirely, and unwanted files deleted. Video and audio settings, menu text size, flash reduction, and camera shake options are all adjustable.
