Pulled from death into a dying land
You were nobody: homeless, asleep in the open when the fog rolled in. It should have killed you. Instead it dragged you into the Tractus: a cursed region drowning in a necrotic mist that raises the dead, twists the living, and rots the land itself. Now you wake in a strange castle the fog cannot touch, with one goal: to find a way out.
EX-Tractus is a soulslike extraction game for up to four players. Raid the fog-choked ruins of a doomed land, fight for every scrap of loot, and claw your way back to safety before undead, the fog, or something much worse take what's yours.
Risk everything, extract alive
This is the heart of every raid: what you carry in, you lose when you die. There are no second chances and no safety nets in the field. Press your luck for more valuables, and you may never make it back. Extract, and everything you hauled out is yours to keep.
Soulslike combat - Deliberate, stamina-driven melee combat. Every action counts.

Better together
Drop in with up to three friends. Coordinate your styles: a shield to hold the line, a bow to thin the horde, magic to break an ambush, or scatter to cover more ground and gamble that everyone makes it to extraction. The fog rewards the bold and buries the greedy.
Build between raids
The unknown castle is your one refuge. Bank your hard-won loot in storage that survives death, then put it to work:
Recycle and Smelt raw ore and materials at the forge
Craft weapons, armor, and enchantments at the workbench
Cook food and brew potions, every little advantage can be the difference between the end or survival
Choose your stakes: Announce yourself to the fog before you depart; brighter flames draw deadlier threats and richer rewards
Descend deeper
Raid mountaintop cathedrals, abandoned temples, mist-shrouded lakesides, and the buried places beneath them. Unlock crypts, interiors, and boss arenas as you return at higher stakes, hunting the truth behind the fog and the necromancers who thrive in it.
